Upon receipt of the raw material for chicken feed pellet production line, the processing line kicks off. The raw material is inspected to ensure it meets the quality and quantity standards required for the production process. Any substandard material is rejected and replaced. The accepted raw material is then transported to the grinding machine, where it is transformed into a fine powder that is easy to mix with other ingredients. The finely ground material is taken to the mixing machine, where other ingredients are added. The mixer combines all the ingredients thoroughly, ensuring they are evenly distributed, and the required proportions are maintained. From the mixer, the mixture is emptied into the pellet mill for further processing. The pellet mill converts the mixture into pellets of different sizes, depending on the intended application. During the production process, various quality checks are performed to ensure the final product is of the required quality. When the process is complete, the pellets are packed and readied for shipment. The unloading process of raw materials involves weighing the bulk truck or train using a floor scale on a dump truck. After the weight is recorded, the materials are unloaded into the unloading pit. The reception of packaging materials can be divided into two categories: manual handling and mechanical receiving. In manual handling, individuals are responsible for receiving and handling the packaging materials. They physically inspect and count the items, ensuring that they are in good condition and correspond to the order. This process requires careful attention to detail and proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries. Liquid raw materials in the form of bottles and cartridges can be easily handled and stored by manual means upon their receipt. | ![]() |
Storage of raw materials
To store the various raw materials and ingredients used in feed production, different types of silos are required. Silos can be divided into two main categories, namely, silos and house silos. Fluid raw materials such as corn, high grain, and other cereal-based ingredients are typically stored in silos. These materials have excellent fluidity and are less prone to clumping. However, powdery materials such as soybean meal and bran have a tendency to agglomerate over time and require storage in a room warehouse with less air exposure. In summary, feed manufacturers must use different storage options that cater to the characteristics of each ingredient in order to guarantee the quality of the final product.
Cleaning of raw materials
In the feed factory, the primary cleaning equipment consists of screening and magnetic separation devices. The main purpose of the screening equipment is to eliminate bulky and elongated contaminants such as stones, soil, and fragments of sacks that may be present in the raw materials. On the other hand, the magnetic separation equipment plays a crucial role in getting rid of any iron impurities that might be present. By employing these cleaning methods, the feed factory ensures the purity and quality of the raw materials used for production.
Crushing of raw materials
When it comes to Chicken Feed Pellet Production Line, choosing the right feed crushing method is crucial. The suitable method should be determined based on factors such as the feed variety, required particle size, and other conditions. Primary crushing process, circulating crushing process, and secondary crushing process are three common options based on the amount of raw material. Additionally, there are two batching processes- first batching and then crushing process, and first crushing and then batching process, which can be combined with the chosen crushing method to ensure effective feed production.
Using two or more pulverizers in parallel may seem like a good idea, but it has its drawbacks. For instance, the particle size distribution may not be uniform, and it will draw lots of power, which can be quite costly.
There are three different forms of the secondary crushing process: single-cycle crushing, stage crushing, and tissue powder. These processes are essential in breaking down materials into smaller pieces. The single-cycle process involves a one-time crushing process, while the stage crushing process breaks down materials in phases. Lastly, the tissue powder process is used to pulverize materials into fine particles. Each of these methods has its own application depending on the material being processed. The secondary crushing process is vital because it helps in making materials more manageable and easier to transport.
(2) In order to achieve a more efficient crushing process, the single-cycle secondary crushing method involves first crushing and screening the material with a crusher, and then sending the screened material back to be crushed once more by the original crusher. This approach ensures that the material is thoroughly crushed and screened, maximizing the output and effectiveness of the crushing process.
In this segmented secondary crushing process, the primary goal is to achieve the desired particle size by utilizing two crushers equipped with different screens. The material undergoes screening through the first-level screen, ensuring it meets the necessary requirements. Subsequently, the screened material is directed to the mixer, while the remaining material enters the first-stage pulverizer. After pulverization, the material passes through another grading screen for further screening. Those materials that satisfy the particle size criteria are added to the mixer, while the sieved particles are subjected to secondary pulverization before being mixed.
(3) Combined secondary crushing process. The process uses different types of pulverizers in the two pulverizations. First use of a two-roll mill. After grading and sieving, the lower sieve enters the mixer. The material enters the hammer mill for secondary crushing.
3. Ingredients first, then crushing process. According to the design of the feed formula, the ingredients are mixed and mixed first, and then enter the crusher for crushing.
4. The process of first crushing and then batching, the first crushed powder enters the batching bin respectively, and then the ingredients are mixed.
